Magalu Cloud on the backbone

Connect Magalu Cloud the same way you connect AWS, GCP, or Azure. Deploys and runners stay in your account.

Orkestia is the backbone that connects software, AI, and the real world. Magalu Cloud is the Brazilian cloud a lot of teams already run. Connect it the same way you connect AWS, GCP, or Azure. Runners, networks, Kubernetes, and the rest of the catalog then run in that account. Compute does not leave the cloud you connected.

Canonical regions are br-ne1 and br-se1.

How you authenticate

The Magalu connection supports three modes:

  • An API key
  • ID Magalu OAuth, with refresh
  • An object-storage key pair, S3-compatible

Pick the mode that matches what you are about to run. Object storage work needs the key pair. Runners on Magalu VMs need the mode the runner types ask for in get_workflow_prerequisites. Do not guess. Read the prerequisite guide.

Create an account, add Magalu Cloud from Connections. Types in the catalog.

What it is for

  • Network: VPC, subnets, security groups, public IPs, NAT, routes
  • Kubernetes (MKE) clusters and node pools
  • DBaaS and LBaaS
  • Compute: SSH keys, volumes, snapshots
  • Object storage buckets and objects
  • Container registry
  • Runners on Magalu VMs, the same runner product you would use on AWS

Dedicated runner app: runners.orkestia.dev. Kaoitos for Kubernetes: kaoitos.orkestia.dev.

You pay Magalu for what runs there. Orkestia is the typed, permissioned, audited way to start that work. Credentials stay on the connection.

A read-only inventory type is the right first run. Cluster creates are not.

Runners in Brazil

The runner product is the same product on AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, and Magalu. Warm pools, capacity ceilings, self-healing. On Magalu the VM is in br-ne1 or br-se1. You still open runners.orkestia.dev. The prerequisite guide will ask for the Magalu connection and the network profile Network Management already mapped.

A first afternoon:

  1. Connect Magalu. Finish the mode the test asks for.
  2. Run a read-only inventory type from MCP. Read the payload.
  3. Open Runners or Kaoitos. Follow their prerequisites. Do not start a cluster create from a guessed schema.

You pay Magalu for the VM. You pay Orkestia the published seats on pricing. Two bills, two jobs.
